Kerja

So yesterday after work I dropped by to refill my gas at gas station. And when I got home I notice there are missed calls from a Shah Alam number, twice. Must be missed when I pumped the gas.  I ignored.

So this morning I reached office and open both my Outlook (office email) and Gmail (personal email).

There were some new emails in my Gmail. Mostly spam and adv. I noticed an email with title ‘TEMUDUGA MELALUI TELEFON’. My heart skipped a beat. Baru semalam bising-bising bosan kerja di tempat ini, mau cari kerja lain. Separuh hati kata ni mesti email spam, tapi separuh hati berharap ada company turun dari langit offer kerja. Bila baca email tu, sesuatu yang aku tak jangka, it’s an email from the ‘Lembaga’ I went for interview few months ago. Apparently the missed calls were from them.

To cut the long story short, I am hired hahha no lah the telephone interview was done at 10.15am and if I were shortlisted (again) there’ll be a meeting cum interview session with the Board Risk Chairman next week.

I am happy, but also worried, as their risk department baru nak start up, so I foresee a very challenging task awaiting. The first candidate they hired has resigned. I am the KIV. So am I tough enough to do the job?
